Blast and Coat systems use a Goff Skewroll Blaster to
remove any previous coatings and to provide an anchor pattern for the new
coating. A Clean Products' metal spray system is used to recoat the
submersible pump.
|
 |
The picture shows multiple metal spray guns coating a pump as the
Clean Products' conveyor rotates the work and passes it through
the spray area. 3 to 16 mil coatings can be achieved in one pass.

Blast Cleaning Equipment for Long, Pipe-like Work. |
 |
- Automatic cleaning with blast wheels, no compressed air required.
- Variable speed work conveyor, Air-wash Separator, Classifier, and
Automatic Abrasive Adder to maintain consistent abrasive operating
mix.
- Rotary screen to automatically remove chunks of previous coating
materials.
- Multiple blast wheels clean larger diameter pumps.
- Larger diameter blast wheel blades can be used to change the
abrasive velocity.

Skew Wheel Conveyor |
Adjustable Work Cart Positioning System |
 |
 |
Skew Wheel Conveyor
-
Rotates the work as it travels.
-
Adjustable forward travel per revolution.
-
Variable rotation rpm
-
E-stop cables along conveyors.
-
Work sensors at end of conveyor.

Spray Cabinet
|
|
Traveling Cabinet Spray Gun Positioning In areas
where space is limited, the spray cabinet can be moved instead of moving the
work. The work is rotated by variable speed drive, and the cabinet
uses variable travel speed to provide a desired coating thickness and
pattern overlap. Generally, the spray gun feed is set at close to
maximum and doesn't require frequent adjustments. |

Blast and Coat Line |
 |
Blast Cleaning and Thermal Spray is on the same skew wheel conveyor line.
Work travels through the blaster and then through the spray cabinet.
The single line saves space.

|
Tilt-back Spray Cabinet |
Single Spray Gun Cabinet |
 |
 |
Tilt-back cabinet offers easier maintenance access to replace work skew
wheel wheels and remove overspray.
|
Compact spray cabinet with skew wheel conveyor for consistent thickness
coatings.

Work Trolley Conveyor |
 |
 |
|
Work cart rotates work and separate gear motor pulls cart to easily vary
travel and rotation speed separately. |

Heavy Duty Airblast Cabinet
-
Blast cabinet for larger work uses heavy walls
-
Bucket elevator to reduce recycling wear
-
Pressure blast pot for high volume abrasive flow and
velocity control
-
An air-wash separator to separately control the
separator process
-
Automatically cleaning dust collector.
-
Cabinet used to prepare more compact work for
thermal arc spray.
